How does our upholstery cleaning service work?
We have base rates for cleaning sofas (armchairs, dining table chairs, futons, upholstered bedheads) and mattresses. Rates are increased based on the intensity of the staining in the material. After cleaning, items are left in a sunny place to air dry, or in a room with a fan.
We use any of the following cleaning methods, based on the type and condition of the fabric to be cleaned:
- Extraction with chemicalsThis is standard procedure where chemical agent is sprayed onto the fabric, left to penetrate for a short while and then agitated and extracted with a specialty machine.
- Steam cleaningSteam cleaning can be done in isolation, or as a companion to chemical extraction
- Pressure washingFor items such as rugs, pressure washing is an option
