How does our upholstery cleaning service work?
We have base rates for cleaning sofas (armchairs, dining table chairs, futons, upholstered bedheads) and mattresses. Rates are increased based on the intensity of the staining in the material. After cleaning, items are left in a sunny place to air dry, or in a room with a fan.
We use any of the following cleaning methods, based on the type and condition of the fabric to be cleaned:
- Extraction with chemicalsThis is standard procedure where we spray a chemical agent onto the fabric, leave it to penetrate for a short while and then agitate the fabric gently but firmly with a brush, and extract the dirt with a specialty machine.
- Steam cleaningWe use steam cleaning along with chemical extraction, or by itself.
- Pressure washingFor items such as rugs, we offer pressure washing services as well
