Eazy Laundry Terms and Conditions

EAZY LAUNDRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) govern your (the “Customer) use of the Eazy Laundry service operated by Eazy Maids (“Company”).

MINIMUM ORDER SIZE

There is no minimum order size per customer.

MAXIMUM ORDER SIZE

There is no maximum order size.  Each customer is allowed up to two full large-sized garbage bags of clothing at no extra cost.  Each additional bag is charged at $10.00 per bag, whether it is partially filled or filled.

PAYMENT 

The estimated payment for the service must be made to the Company prior to the appointment time.  The estimated payment will be determined based on the information entered by the Customer into the Eazy Laundry Online Ordering Form, and must be made online before the collection appointment can be confirmed.  Online payment must be made by debit or credit card.  The final invoice will be issued to the Customer when the laundry is completed, and this must be paid within 24 hours, or the next working day after 24 hours has passed.

COLLECTION OF LAUNDRY FROM THE CUSTOMER

Upon arrival, the Company’s staff shall record all the items to be laundered on a provided sheet, which shall be signed off by both the Staff and the Customer.  This list will simply categorize the items (e.g. adult dress, child pants) and will not go into detail of material, soil level or color fastness.  Upon the return of laundered clothes to the Customer, the same list will be used to record the clothing details and shall be signed off again.

Laundry must be sorted prior to being collected by the Company.  The Company will allow a maximum of 15 minutes of uncharged waiting time in the event that laundry is not prepared, however, after the first uncharged 15 minutes, the next 15 minutes or part thereof will be charged at EC $15.00, up to a maximum wait time of 30 minutes.

Laundry should be sorted according to how the client wishes for them to be washed. Neither the Company nor the Laundry Mart will be responsible for doing this.  Clothes can be sorted and packed into separate bags, which the Company will then pack into large garbage bags.  The Company will not enter the Client’s home, so collection and drop off must be done at the front door or verandah, or similar location.

SELECTION OF LAUNDRY MART

The Customer gives the Company the right to choose any duly registered and operational laundry mart to perform the laundry functions, and the Customer shall not be able to select his / her own preferred laundry mart.

LAUNDRY SERVICES

Only machine washing and machine drying shall be carried out at the Laundry Mart. No dry cleaning, ironing or special procedures such as stain removal shall be done.  The load size per washer will be at the discretion of the laundry service.  The general fill size of 20 lbs of clothing per washer is advisable, and 30 lbs for the dryer.

WASH CYCLES

Using the Online Laundry Request Form, Customers can select among three different wash cycles: regular wash, delicates and perm press.

DRYING CYCLES

Dryer options are regular heat, low heat, high heat and perm press. The dryer cycle runs for 25 minutes.  If the load is full and/or contains bulky items, there is a possibility that some items will not be fully dried.  The Customer has the option using the Online Laundry Request Form to allow the Company to purchase dry cycles until all the clothes are fully dried, or to purchase only a set number of cycles.  If the Customer chooses only a set number of cycles and all items are not fully dried, the Company will not be responsible for any degradation of the not-fully dried clothing which may result.  Examples of degradation include mould and mildew growth and foul odour.

LAUNDRY MART CHARGES

All charges relating to the processing of the clothing shall be in accordance with the Laundry Mart’s current rates.  The Company shall not alter the laundry mart’s prices in any way.

The Customer, through the online ordering form on the Company’s website, shall make request for and pay in advance for laundry add-ons per load, such as detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets.  Estimated costs of washing per load and drying per load will be stated on the Online Ordering Form on the Company’s website.  If the Laundry Mart’s prices are lower than the posted prices, the Customer will receive either a cheque for the difference or, if the prices are higher, the Customer will be invoiced for the excess.

DAMAGES

The staff of the selected Laundry Mart will use their expertise in washing and / or drying the clothing.  Eazy Maids will not check the quality of any garment which it collects.  Eazy Maids therefore cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials, which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. It also cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls.

Any damaged items must be reported to admin@eazymaids.com within 5 business days of receipt of the laundered clothing.

LOST ITEMS

Any lost items must be reported to admin@eazymaids.com within 5 business days.

LOOSE ITEMS

Eazy Maids shall not be held liable for the damage or loss of any loose items, such as jewellery, coins, business cards and paper receipts that were lodged in pockets or other areas of clothing, neither shall it be held liable for damage to clothing from such items, such as gum soiling clothing during the wash cycle or ink from a receipt staining clothing. The Customer is expected to remove all loose items from clothing before handing over to the Company.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES – FOLDING & IRONING

Folding and ironing are not provided through the Eazy Laundry service.  If you wish for these separate services, you can sign up for these here.

TURNAROUND TIME

Eazy Maids will do its best to return clothing within 48 hours, however, at times there may be circumstances beyond its control which may cause an unexpected delay in return.  This includes but is not limited to, bad weather, national unrest, public holidays and a change in the Laundry Mart’s hours of operation.  Eazy Maids will not assume responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service beyond 48 hours.

PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The processing of any personal information (such as name and email) and financial information (such as card number and expiration date) is subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of Eazy Maids, which can be found on this website.
